I'm feeling happy
I feel so sad
I've lost the best friend
That I've ever had
She was my woman
I loved her so
But it's too late now
I've let her go
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
We shared the years
We shared each day
In love together
We found a way
But soon the world
had it's evil way
My heart was blinded
Love went astray
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
It took so long
to realize
and I can still hear
her last goodbye
Now all my days
are filled with tears
Wish I could go back
and change these years
I'm going through changes
I'm going through changes
-Black Sabbath, Changes
I got to thinking. With me, that can be a very dangerous thing.
The world has changed a bit. America as a whole got one hell of a wake up call
that some people outside our happy shiny world don't like us. Ripples of
which are still showing. Security policies at airports finally got the
attention that they probably needed. before, it was far too easy to carry
large, heavy metal objects in the cabin. I routinely packed tools in my
carryon baggage. It it true that mistakes are being made, people are still
learning. (I made the mistake of taking my Leatherman with my on my very last
trip. The airports made the mistake of not catching it). For the legitimate
field engineer, it's still easy to travel with your tools. Most field
engineers I know have large tool cases that have to be checked.
