Well, I finally got off my tail and bought a UPS for my unix box. There's just
one tiny problem: I can't talk to it. The software that cam with it is for a
windoze box. I figured no problem. I can figure out how to get it talking.
WRONG. The software that I got from the vendor for FreeBSD won't talk
to the UPS, and as it turns out, neither will the windoze machine I have sitting
next to the unix box. Fortunatly, I've only got a desk lamp as a load on it for
the moment, so I'm safe until I get it up and running. Aside from that, nothing
interesting is happening in my life, aside from the fact that I'm typing this
on the console, and not from the comfort and realitive safty of my laptop and
SSH. Til next time then...
