This was the second time I was put on a phone support desk, and I lasted about 10 months on this one, namely because the callers were not complete and utter morons. That, and management was not die- hard on call volume. They prefered call quality over quantity, and it showed. This particular call center managed to weather the great outsourcing storm that happened a few years later, and is still going today. The co-worker eventually became the manager there before he got poached by some big corporation as their IT director."
